The night was dim
Sans the moonlight and, full of grim.
There was no presence of humans anywhere
In the lonely pathways of the station beside.
If you were there, which you are not
You would hear the thundering of the train that was nowhere there.
Like a gazelle running
But raging like a bull, there was no mercy and no driver.
Unknowingly it knew to smash and destroy
Things that mattered the most to the least of all raging bulls.
Running all the way to the end
Without anymore fuel to run.
Unstoppable but yet it stopped at the station
Waiting for the first and the last passenger,
To board the train
And give it a simmer of hope.
The passenger spoke of the unknown
And passers-by warned of the impending glorious gloom.
The passenger stood on the side
Watching the train stand very still.
The passenger knew not what not to do
The train was hopeful enough not to be hopeful.
But if the passenger can only wait
The train would be raging again, like it ever was.
Sans the moonlight and, full of grim.
There was no presence of humans anywhere
In the lonely pathways of the station beside.
If you were there, which you are not
You would hear the thundering of the train that was nowhere there.
Like a gazelle running
But raging like a bull, there was no mercy and no driver.
Unknowingly it knew to smash and destroy
